What a beautiful waterfall. ❤️
Parked at the Corrieshalloch Gorge Visitor centre and walked the woodland trail to the falls. Well worth the parking fees for the facilities on offer there.
The view from directly above on the 150yr old Victorian suspension bridge were great but the best view was from the viewpoint a little way beyond the bridge.
We parked at the original car park as it was late in the day and the new visitor centre was closed. A short walk to the Falls and Gorge, unfortunately its midge season, be prepared 🦟 to get bitten, but that's Scotland 🏴 A stunning waterfall and spectacular Gorge. Make your way to the lookout, don't look down if you're afraid of heights.
Amazing waterfall. There's a cute bridge over the top of the waterfall and a viewing platform a short walk away. Both the bridge and the platform have a 6 person maximum weight limit. The views were beautiful. There is also a Gorge to walk if you follow the river up. There is plenty of parking and it costs £5 the park there for the whole day. There are no shops at the waterfall carpark but there are toilets and a cafe at the Gorge carpark.
Great stop off! Was there 30mins. Walk was literally 5-10 mins depending on were you walk from. Lovely pics and walk to the end so you can see the bridge from far! Easy slop down, benches if you need to rest! Staff were lovely!
I like to think I am well travelled and have probably been to more countries than most people. But I have never seen a gorge like this. It is amazing!
Have a walk down from the car park - it is good paths and not too far although it is a bit steep in places. It is really worth it!
The suspension bridge was built in the mid 1800s, so take note of the restriction of 6 people at a time. It looks pretty well maintained - but that is 150 years or more of rust and corrosion 😜. Seriously though - no problem. It is all good.
The walk to the viewing platform a hundred metres downstream is worth it. Wish we had figured out at the carpark the round route to the second viewing platform but we missed that.
Beautiful massive water fall that you must see. You can walk across the suspension bridge to get a better look. I flew my small drone and got amazing footage of the place.
A lovely short morning walk down into the gorge. Took a while to get used to the slight wobble on the bridge across the gorge as not too keen on heights but we’ll worth the walk to see the waterfall. A bit further along the track brings you to the viewpoint. £5 parking for cars, £10 for motorhomes and campervans. Further up the hill is a visitor centre with refreshments and for a small fee is an Elsan point and water facilities.
The falls are only a short walk from the car park but it's a fairly hilly route down and back up again. At £5 for cars and £10 for motor homes to park, it was an expensive 15 minutes.
